A girl was gathering firewood alongside the sting of a river. Whereas slicing a department from a tree, she dropped her axe into the water, and it sank to the underside.
Determined, she started to hope and plead:
– Lord, assist me, please, Lord!
God appeared and requested her:
– What’s fallacious, girl? What occurred? Why are you crying so bitterly?
– Lord, please assist me. My axe fell into the river, and I’ve nothing to chop wooden with — I’ll freeze to loss of life.
God put His hand into the river and pulled out a golden axe.
– Is that this your axe? He requested.
The noble girl replied:
– No, Lord, that’s not mine.
God reached in once more and pulled out a silver axe.
– Is that this your axe, girl?
– No, Lord, not that one both.
God reached in a 3rd time and pulled out an axe manufactured from iron and wooden.
– And this one — is it yours? He requested as soon as extra.
– Yesss, Lord, sure!!! That one is mine.
God was so happy with the girl’s honesty that He gave her all three axes — the golden one, the silver one, and her unique axe.
Overjoyed, the girl ran residence to inform her beloved husband concerning the miracle. She then took him to the spot the place she had seen God.
However in a second of carelessness, the person tripped and fell into the river. Not realizing learn how to swim, he drowned.
The girl started to cry once more and plead for assist.
