Once I was a child, my dad handed me cash and mentioned,
“Go pay the electrical invoice.”
Easy sufficient…
Besides I noticed a raffle for a brand-new pickup truck.
So I did what any future monetary genius would do.
I spent each penny on raffle tickets.
Once I bought house and confessed what I’d carried out…
Dad launched me to a really memorable life lesson.
The following morning, we woke as much as see a brand-new truck parked proper in our driveway.
I couldn’t imagine it.
“Dad… I WON!”
We stood there observing it.
We hugged.
We cried.
Nicely…
Largely I cried.
As a result of it wasn’t the prize truck.
It was the electrical firm’s truck…
They’d come to close off our energy for non-payment.
And simply in case I hadn’t discovered my lesson the primary time…
Dad gave me one other reminder. 😂
