The Price of Greed
A rich man was identified for being extraordinarily stingy.
On his deathbed, he referred to as his spouse over and stated:
“Pay attention fastidiously. Once I die, I need you to place all my cash within the coffin with me. I wish to take it with me to the afterlife.”
His spouse, a form and constant lady, nodded.
“Alright… I promise.”
On the day of the funeral, simply earlier than the coffin was closed, the spouse stepped ahead and positioned a small field inside.
An in depth buddy standing close by whispered in shock:
“Are you loopy?! Did you actually put all that cash in there with that miser?!”
The spouse replied calmly:
“I made a promise. I’m a lady of my phrase.”
The buddy stared at her:
“You imply… all of it? Each single greenback?”
The spouse smiled softly and stated:
“That’s proper.”
She paused… then added:
“I gathered all his money, deposited it into my checking account…
and wrote him a examine.”
One other pause.
“If he can money it within the afterlife… he’s welcome to spend it.” 😅
